THe Finale

Hi everyone and welcome back to the last journal entry for The Greatest Showcase. Within this one, we'll be explaining what happened at last night's showcase. So here we go.

Last night was the night where people, students and lecturers all joined together to celebrate some incredible work of the media students from the University of Chester in Warrington.

The night was a success with the Live TV Broadcast, Photography, an outdoors Radio Show and live music from Wynn Warlow. When asked how she found the whole experience of going live, Wynn replied, "It was daunting at first, but once you get used to it, it's one of the biggest thrills ever."

The layout of the artwork and showcase in general was so much better than what I was expecting. It was all hung in a way that when you was to walk into the room, you would think that you were in a art gallery. But it's not just us thinking this and to agree with us on this statement was University of Chester and former Music Journalism student Ola Szczyrbowski. When asked for her views on the event overall, she stated, "I think it's incredible what has gone on tonight. I wasn't expecting anything like this. And I think it's nice to see people you know's work up so you can help celebrate with them".

When looking around the Showcase, my favourite part overall had to of been seeing everyone come together to celebrate the work of all media students who have passed through or are currently on the campus. When asked what her favourite part of the Showcase was, Wynn quoted, "My favourite part of the showcase was getting to see all the hard work and effort that had gone into it, come to fruition; then seeing everyone relax afterwards".

Overall, The Greatest Showcase was a success and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the company that was provided. When asked to rate the Showcase overall, Ola said, "I would rate it a 10 as it wasn't what I was expecting and I really enjoyed the night". We also had a reply from Wynn. She quoted, "I would rate it a solid 9.9/10, because it's best to always leave a little wiggle room".

All the rounds of applauses and pats on the backs goes to the project teams that has pulled their heads together to create, prepare and produce this amazing event. We would like to say a huge thank you to the Production and Advertising team, the Live TV Streaming group, the Exhibition group, the Radio and CAT Website team and the Photography and Blog team for all the amazing and hard work that we have put into this. We would also like to thank the client and the staff working along side us for all the support and guidance you have given to us. We all appreciate it very much. And lastly, we would like to say a huge thank you to you. You as readers have been unbelievable and we couldn't be more appreciative of your loyalty to us. It means so much to us so thank you.
