The Media Valedictory Show is an annual event created by the University of Chester, Warrington Campus where they put on an incredible showcase of work from students and staff within the media department. Pieces of work from departments such as advertising, photography, journalism, television, film, music and radio have featured in previous years for the public to come, see and enjoy.

Thursday May 31, 2018, will be an incredible event where we will do exactly that. Students and staff within the media department of the University of Chester will showcase their work to existing and previous students and staff as well to the public. The event will be named ‘The Greatest Showcase’ as that is exactly what it will be; the greatest showcase you will ever see. The work will be showcased in the North West Media Centre which is located opposite the library on the Warrington Campus. We are using this event as an opportunity for everyone to join and enjoy a night of fun and celebrating the work of students and staff as well as the university.

The production team behind this Media Valedictory Show are current level five (second year) media students where they will prepare everything for the event from scratch; including all the imagery, video footage, writing, radio broadcasts and branding.

Throughout this project, there are several groups that are helping to bring this to life. Each group has their subject to focus on and what they need to do ready for the final project piece.
